woven living room

"woven living room", 2015, site specific installation, 11 feet diameter 80 feet high

I transformed a grain silo into an entire immersive line environment, with everything and anything covered with hand drawn lines. The site specific installation represents a woven living room setting. The silo space has an arrangement of objects overlaid with my woven patterns and are starting points. The drawings spill out and continue from the objects onto the wall connecting everything together. I used paint marker, acrylic and animation. The ability to go outside the confines of my work and onto a cylindrical environment was a new challenge.
