peeking inside! sharing space? the space within

"peeking inside! sharing space? the space within", 2018, BOX 13 window box space site specific installation

The window box space is completely covered with paper on the inside. With a knife I drew on the paper, while fluorescent marker and black lights illuminate the space. Standing in front of the window the viewer will be peeking inside the space through holes in the paper. While peeking through holes in the window people will be sharing space in front of the window, trying to find the best personal view. The drawings represent an uncanny world full of people moving around in the space. When it is dark outside the peeking holes will appear as light forms on the window and the outside reflects on the inside.
